Opinion: Break

First of all, we lost our privilege of having a break and we are upset. Just because the district thinks we need more time to learn. Well that is good for the students because we learn more but it isn’t fair because now the only break we have is after lunch for 15 minutes and we have to hurry eating. They said this also happened because there was a fight and nobody said anything. Well some of us didn’t even know about it. I also think it isn’t fair because now we can’t chill in the morning for a little bit. I also think all the students care because that was the only time we had to chill. Well I hope the district changes their mind.

We used to have two brakes a day. Everybody was okay with that including the teachers and the principal, until they took the news up to the District Office. They ruined it for us and took the morning recess away from us. They think that we aren’t learning at all. But unlike other schools we don’t switch classes. Which is fine but they should at least let us keep the morning recess so we can converse with our friends and get it out of our system. Otherwise we're never going to learn! The District Office has ruined every thing for us ever since we started school! They took away our morning recess, don’t let us wear black socks, not wear sweaters in the classroom (with the exception of navy blue or white). They are probably going to work on taking our lunch recess away too! Well this is a big problem happening in school that needs to be resolved.
