Opinion: Sports are what makes this school good

Here at Cartwright, everything here is for the little kids. Not cool! We are 8th graders in a little kid school. The only thing good are the school sports. But there isn’t even going to be flag football this year. How about some 8th grade stuff for a change. If the school teachers are reading this, help us 8th graders get flag football this year. We got taken out of middle school to go to a K-8 school so you have to make it up to us. Just ask any 8th grader what they want and they will give you ideas.

    Thank you Byron for your thoughts. Could you write an article about some of your ideas? Could you add reasons for your ideas and how the school could support your ideas?

    At Borman, we had flag football. Not anymore. We need FOOTBALL!!!!

    Dear Byron,

    As 3rd graders we agree with you. We like sports too. However, we were not allowed to play soccer or basketball beucase its for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Is that fair? Our class loves football and we would love to come watch you play football, but for now we will come watch you play basketball.

    I hope you find some good things in my class! :-) I think your Photojournalism class is great, too. And what about your gifted class? There are many great things at Cartwright, and you kids are going to help make it better! Mr. Lambert
